How I got into UX
After 10 years of working as a dental CAD/CAM technician I decided to embark on a quest of finding out more about the mysterious and luring concept of UX Design. Why? Not sure, but the more I read into it I found that I have the skills and interests necessary to pursue this path: inquisitiveness, depth, creativity and grit.
I started off by enrolling in a bootcamp that helped me understand the multifarious and complex nature of this field and how to become competent at it. Ten months later I've graduated with a portfolio to show and a specialisation in Front-end Development to match.
How I work and the end results
My work is focused on creating digital experiences by combining customer insights, business analytics and design strategy. I’ve developed skills for finding UX solutions that lead to increase in sales and turning highly technical layouts into user friendly designs that increase efficiency and improve navigation of SaaS platforms.
What gets me excited about design
I enjoy the process of building a product from start to finish and applying my technical skills to make it functional and appealing. I'm an advocate of simplicity in design and a "less is more" approach to aesthetics. There are great opportunities in this field and new concepts are always emerging which I find exciting.Other interests
I'm also passionate about visual arts and oil paintings. Having been infused in the London art scene I have witnessed a slice of toast being exhibited at the Royal Academy and a pile of scrap metal being labelled as progressive at the White Cube. Nonetheless, my artworks are exhibited internationally and held in private collections worldwide.
Thanks for getting to know me!
I'm currently available for collaborations and remote contract work, please get in touch.
